Privacy Policy
Last updated October 29, 2026
The short version: we collect only what we need to get in touch with you and prepare your report. We don’t sell your information, we don’t run ads, and this website doesn’t use tracking cookies. We use simple, cookie-free analytics to count visits.
Who we are
SavvyOp (“we,” “us”) helps independent coffee shops understand their numbers. This policy covers this website, savvyop.com, and the information you share with us when you sign up or work with us. Questions about it go to hello@savvyop.com.
What we collect
What you tell us. When you fill out a Get Started form, we receive your name, email address, shop name, and, if you choose to answer it, your reply to our question. If you email us, we receive whatever you include in that email.
Information about your shop. If you become a customer, you may share business details with us, such as sales, costs, and other financial records, so we can prepare your report.
What your browser sends automatically. Like any website, our hosting provider records basic technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
What we save in your browser. We don’t use cookies. We do keep one small note in your browser’s local storage: an invite code, if you arrived through an invite link, so our sign-up form knows who referred you. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
How we use it
- To reply to you and get you set up.
- To prepare and deliver your report, and to answer your questions about it.
- To keep the website working and protect it from spam and abuse.
We won’t add you to a marketing list without asking, and we never sell or rent your information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run SavvyOp, and only what they need to do their job:
- Vercel hosts this website and counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or identify you. It records which pages are viewed, the site that sent you here, your country, and your device and browser type.
- Postmark delivers the details you send through our forms to our inbox.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, so your browser loads them from Google, which can see your IP address.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of SavvyOp, our customers, or others.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details for as long as we’re in touch or working together. We keep your shop’s information only as long as we need it to provide your report and support you afterward, or as long as the law requires. Ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email hello@savvyop.com and we’ll take care of it.
Keeping it safe
We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data online is perfectly secure, but we treat your shop’s numbers with the same care we’d want for our own.
Children
SavvyOp is for business owners. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
